(TRAVELOGUE) That urban jungle called New York

*Scroll down for English version

Svoje iskustvo iz New Yorka morala bih podeliti u dva posta. Barem dva...

A u sred grada..

A o tome šta sve možete raditi u New Yorku u samo desetak dana, saznajte u drugom delu ovog posta.. Uskoro...

My New York experience I should divide in two separate posts. At least two.. There`s something in that urban jungle that enchants you, in some moments leave you numb and makes you feel like it`s impossible to explain other people in words your experience from this megalopolis. Lots of nature lovers will now maybe take the defencive attitude towards this concrete city, but I know lots of such who for sure have changed their opinion after visiting NYC. I was also about to go to Peru, but I finished in NYC. And after that experience I stayed enchanted by its grace, and by each mentioning of its name I would say that famous "I have to go back there". At least once more... And than again...

There`s something in those moments of talking about New York that evokes different emotional states than when talking about other cities. In myself, as well as in the people who are listening to me. As if they`re more intrigued to ask a question, to show their interest. Because, everybody knows this city at least a little bit. Rare are American movies/tv shows in which at least one sequence isn`t recorded in Big Apple. And all those sequences are constantly passing through your mind while walking through the City, and you can`t help but wonder whether you have already been there.

So many wonderful moments surround you, that you immediately figure how it`s better to hold your camera in your hands non-stop, rather than keeping it in the bag and constantly taking it out. And yes, the architecture delights you even though it`s modern. There are so many angles, installations that simply allure you with their concept.

And since this is the city rich in diversity and contrast, it also offers a sanctuary to those moments when you want to run away from all this concrete, and find peace in nature. In the middle of the city...

And about what things you can do in New York in around 10 days, you can find out in the second part of this post. Soon...
