Dva savršena letnja recepta /// Two perfect summer recipes

Ne, ovaj blog se ne pretvara u food blog. Iako u poslednje vreme sve češće pišem o receptima, još uvek nisam dovoljno vešta u kuhinji, niti imam pogodan fotoaparat za food blog kakav bih eventualno želela da vodim. Ovo je blog na kojem između ostalog puno volim da izveštavam o svojim DIY poduhvatima, i toga verujte mi ima dosta u mom životu u poslednje vreme. Međutim, veći deo tih aktivnosti vezan je za moje venčanje, pa bih volela da o tome izveštavam nakon tog velikog događaja i tako ih ostavim iznenađenjem za sve.

U svoj toj gunguli, uspela sam da nađem vreme i za poduhvate u kuhinji, i to ovekovečim skromnim fotografijama, te sa nestrpljenjem želim sa vama da podelim čak dva recepta koja su, barem meni, omogućila pravi ugođaj u ovim vrelim danima. 

Čorba od tikvica i krompira


U nedostatku bundeve nisam bila u mogućnosti da u potpunosti kopiram predivnu čorbu koju sam probala kod svoje mame, pa sam se poslužila onim što sam imala kod kuće - tikvicama. Sad im je sezona, pa se nekako uvek zateknu u kući :) Čorba je rađena po uzoru na ovaj recept, uz male izmene.

2 krompira
1 tikvica
cca 500 ml vode
pola glavice luka
maslinovo ulje
kari
so
tečna pavlaka (po ukusu)

Prvo sam propržila seckani luk na malo maslinovog ulja, pa dodala iseckani krompir i nalila delom odvojene vode, toliko da ga prekrije. Kada je krompir već malo omekšao, dodala sam i naseckane tikvice, i opet dodala malo vode. Kada se povrće obarilo, samlela sam ga u multipraktiku. Potom sam ga vratila u šerpu, dodala preostalu vodu, so i kari. Kad se os svega dobila kremasta čorba, sklonila sam sa vatre. Pavlaku dodati odmah u čorbu, ili po ukusu u tanjir.

Testenina sa pestom i paradajzom


Kod Dolce fooda sam naišla na odličan recept za domaći pesto od bosiljka. Kući sam imala samo domaći peršun, a ostale sastojke u različitim razmerama nego što ona preporučuje, pa sam napravila neku svoju verziju. Već par dana je bio u frižideru pa ga je trebalo iskoristiti, a i žurilo mi se na našu dunavsku plažu, te sam došla na ideju da ga iskoristim u jednoj brzinskoj letnjoj pasti. U međuvremenu se desilo da je naša zaposlena žena slično razmišljala, te je i ona napravila svoju verziju testenine sa pestom. Proverite i njen recept.

Obarila sam testeninu, a u međuvremenu prepekla sitno seckani paradajz na maslinovom ulju. Potom sam mu dodala barenu posoljenu testeninu, i na kraju prelila pavlakom. Kada sam testeninu sklonila sa ringle, dodala sam joj i pesto.

No, this blog is not turning into a food blog. Even though lately I`ve been posting many recipes, I`m still not skilled enough in the kitchen, and still doesn`t have the quality of photos I would like to have, if I had been running a food blog. This is the blog in which I like to post about my DIY endeavours, and which lately I really have many, trust me. However, they`re mostly connected to my upcoming wedding, so I wouldn`t like to spoil the surprise in advance.

In all that fuss, I have managed to make time for some activities in the kitchen, and to photodocument it, so I`m eager to present you two of great summer recipes I`ve tried.

Zucchini and potato soup

In lack of a pumpkin I couldn`t make wonderful pumpkin soup my mom has made previously, so I took what I have left in my fridge - zucchinis. It`s their season at the moment, so somehow they always end up in your fridge :) This is the original recipe, on which I made a few changes.

2 potatoes
1 zucchini
cca 500 ml water
half of onion
olive oil
curry
salt
sour cream

I fried chopped onion in a bot of olive oil. Then I added slightly cut potatoes, covered it with water and boiled it. When it became soft I added sliced zucchinis and boiled it together until it got soft enough. After that I mashed it, put it back into the pan, added the rest of the water, salt and curry and waited until it became a compact soup. Add sour cream to your taste into the pan, or separately into the plates.

Pesto and tomato pasta

Back at Dolce fooda I saw the recipe for a perfect homemade pesto. I had only parsley at home, and also different doses of other enumerated ingredients, so I made my version of pesto (which was also good, trust me). I was in a hurry to get to our Danube beach on time, so I decided to make pasta with it. At the same time our business woman made something similar, so be sure to check her recipe too (she also writes in English).

pasta for two (amount to taste)
2 teaspoons of pesto
1 tomato
olive oil
sour cream
salt

Prepare past as in the package instructions. Separately fry slighlty chopped tomato in olive oil, then add the pasta and sour cream to taste. Put salt if it`s not enough from the previously prepared pasta. When you put the pasta away from the stove, add pesto and voila!
