All those flowery flowers

I setno, i poetično i senzualno u isto vreme.

I can`t say that I`m a passionate flower lover. I mean, I have always liked when I got a nice flower bouquet, and then the whole living space get all pleasantly smelly for days, but it just wasn`t my favourite present of all. Floral prints have reminded me of periods of mothers and grand mothers, and somehow I was avoiding them, because for me, they weren`t modern. Floral wallpapers also reminded me of my grandmother and something old and in the past, which was not for me, one modern girl, turned towards future.

Even now in my small apartment I have only to flowerpots with flowers. Somehow my home is very small, with not enough lights, with minimal balcony and window shelves. Or is it just that I wasn`t looking enough for new spaces for my flowerpots?

Anyway, I`ve noticed that, by years, my interest in flowers and all "flowery" has really started to grow. Is it because of the years, when we tend to go back to past more often, and all vintage and retro, or is it because of everyday wandering for inspiration on Pinterest and favourite blogs? The answer is maybe not that important, when emotions and aesthetics are in question.

It`s fascinating how small floral detail can make your space more lively. Whether it`s real flowers, or mural.. You just need a little creativity and you`ll get a lot!

And then floral wallpapers. From a small detail to the whole wall. It has to be effective.

Now I feel very romantic when in floral outfit. And sentimental, emotional, poetic at the same time.

Maybe it`s because it`s spring and it immediately reminds on all thing flowery, but these days I just have an urge to find a meadow somewhere and to dive into all that pleasant flower smell, into that simplicity, but completeness!
