Što je brzo, ne mora uvek biti i kuso! ///// Fast is sometimes good!

Primetila sam da ta čuvena izreka ne mora uvek važiti. Barem za mene. Naročito kada je u pitanju kuhinja. Meni omiljeni recepti su uglavnom oni koji se brzo spremaju. Sve što se dugo krčka, peče, zakuvava, uglavnom nije primarno na mojoj listi. Obožavam ona druga jela - preko brzinskog prženog povrća, belog mesa, rižota, preko raznih pasti, tartova, pa sve do plazma torte i brzinskih voćnih crumble-ova i drugih poslastica.

Takav je slučaj i sa ovim kuglicama, koje sam na brzinu napravila, a nestale su već sutra. Muž nije ni stigao da ih proba.


Znate onu slanu salatu od šunkarice, krastavčiča, pečenog susama, trapist i feta sira? Ja je uvek rado jedem, ali sam primetila da mi je šunkarica tu uvek nekako bila višak. A ponekad i krastavčiči. Pa sam onda više puta sebi samo pomešala pečeni susam sa ostatkom feta sira koji sam imala u frižideru (ja koristim Balans sir) i tako ga samog jela uz paradajz ili neku drugu salatu. Sada sam dodala još neke sastojke, i dobila sam ove kuglice, koje se ne peku i koje se lepo mogu poslužiti za grickanje dok kujete planove sa omiljenom drugaricom.


Potrebno je:

300g feta (Balans) sira
veza peršuna
aleva paprika
pečeni susam
samleveni badem, bosiljak, pečeni susam (za posipanje)

Sve sastojke pomešati i kafenom kašičicom vaditi za formiranje kuglica. Ja sam ih uvaljala u pečeni susam, ili u miks od samlevenih badema i bosiljka. Čuvati u frižideru.

I noticed that that saying that "fast is always bad" doesn`t always have to be right. Especially when it`s about kitchen. My favourite recipes are the ones that are prepared fast. Everything that is cooked, roasted long isn`t on the priority on my list. I prefer those other kind of dishes - from stir fried vegetables, chicken, risotto, pastas, to fruit crumbles and such sweets. 

That`s also the case with these feta balls, which I quickly made, and there were gone tomorrow already. My husband didn`t even manage to try them.

You know that salad with salami, pickles, roasted sesame, trapist and feta cheese? I always eat it with pleasure, but I have noticed that very often I find that salami and pickles the odd one out in the whole salad. After that, a few times I just mixed sesame with feta, and I ate it like that with tomato or some other salad. Now I added a few more ingredients, and I got these balls, which are not baked, and are a great snack while you make plans with your favourite friend. 

You`ll need:

300g feta cheese
parsley
paprika
roasted sesame
minced almond, basil, roasted sesame (for sprinkling)

Mix all the ingredients, and with a teaspoon form small balls. I sprinkle them with roasted sesame, or with a mix of almond and basil. Keep in fridge.
